Verifiable Issues
ARIA Application Role: Our team is aware of the role=”application” issue, which tabs out a user from both the focus link and previous link. As of now, this is a verifiable issue occurring in two places on our website
1. Manage Your Booking - When disabling any of the options, for instance; the excess baggage, a custom tooltip is released having role=”application” for keyboard accessibility. 2. A custom calendar on the content pages also has role=”application” for keyboard accessibility. As per the tab order, the next element is “mobile enabled” link which, however, processes the previous tooltip. For instance: “flight number help
Within the NVDA community stack (which opens an external website), a ticket has been generated to resolve the issue.
Check Box Status: Any initial change in status on the booking widget (checked/unchecked) remains unannounced in the NVDA which appears on navigating to the bottom or footer section of the homepage.
An imminent or subsequent change of status (checking and unchecking) is alerted by NVDA.
Forms Mode: Users can remove an airport using the delete option in booking a flight widget, however, doing so also redirects to the form field whereas this does not enter the forms mode automatically in the NVDA. Typing in the information instantly will leave the fields empty. However, manual entry to the forms mode will allow normal functionality.
