Seat + & Neighbour Seat Selection Service:

“SAUDIA” offers the advantage of "Seat+ & Neighbour seat Service", which allows you to purchase additional space for one or more seats next to yours, subject to availability in the economy class, on both domestic and international flights operated by SAUDIA. This service aims to provide:

  • Extra comfort.
  • More personal space.
  • Maintaining social distancing.
  • This service can be requested at any time from 48 hours up to 3 hours before the departure time.
  • All confirmed economy class tickets holders (except Saver tickets) can request this service through the booking management page & SAUDIA mobile Application; except for:
    • Unaccompanied minors.
    • Group bookings.
  • Passengers can purchase a maximum of (3) seats per flight, subject to aircraft type and availability of adjacent seats.
  • Payment for this service can be made using all approved payment methods by “SAUDIA”, with a valid economy class ticket; changes or refunds are not permitted after the purchasing process is accepted & completed. It is valid only for the specific time / date / flight in the booking reference.
    • A confirmation email and an official receipt (voucher) will be sent after booking. Please keep the confirmation as a reference for the service reservation.
  • The service does not include any additional benefits, including but not limited to "additional baggage allowance, or extra miles," or any other special service onboard the aircraft.
  • The service is not available for seats located in the emergency exit row.
  • In the event of no-show or request for any new seating or bidding upgrade service, the current seat voucher will lose its value.
  • While priority is given to the neighbour seat, “SAUDIA” cannot guarantee that adjacent seats will not be occupied by other passengers as these seats are subject to booking by other guests and are available until the last moment.
  • “SAUDIA” reserves the right to change seats before or after boarding for safety reasons. Guests who do not comply with approved safety instructions will be requested to change their seat, and will lose their eligibility for the refund.
  • In case of circumstances beyond SAUDIA’s control or any unforeseen flight disruptions, “SAUDIA” will take all necessary measures to accommodate all guest requests by providing an alternative seat with the same benefits. However, it may not necessarily be the same seat number previously chosen on the seat map. Nevertheless, requests for involuntary changes or refunds will be allowed in case of flight delays or cancellations according to “SAUDIA”' policies or in case the service was not provided.
    • Involuntary refunds will be made in the same currency and payment method as at purchase.
  • By submitting this request and paying for the service, I agree to all SAUDIA’s terms and conditions in addition to the the general rules of carriage.

Extra Seats

Extra Seat Service:

“SAUDIA” offers the option to book a confirmed extra seat, allowing you to purchase one or more additional seats next to yours in the economy class for all domestic and international flights operated by “SAUDIA”. This service aims to provide:

  • Extra comfort.
  • More personal space.
  • Maintaining social distancing.
  • Securing valuable belongings or devices on the seat.
  • These services must be requested in advance through telephone sales centers & sales offices.
  • Payment for this service can be made using any approved payment method by “SAUDIA”. Additionally, changes to flights or optional refunds are allowed according to the fees outlined in the ticket fare conditions.
  • Passengers holding confirmed tourist tickets are eligible to purchase this service, except for:
    • Unaccompanied minors.
    • Group bookings.
  • The service does not include any additional benefits, including but not limited to "access to the Al-Fursan Lounge, additional permitted baggage, extra miles," or any other special service onboard the aircraft.
  • Free baggage will be given in accordance with the ticket bag allowances.
  • The service does not apply to seats located in the emergency exit row.
  • In case of no-show, fees for no-show will be charged based on the value of the travel coupon.
  • “SAUDIA” reserves the right to change seats before or after boarding for safety reasons. Guests who do not comply with approved safety instructions will be requested to change their seat, and will lose their eligibility for the refund.
  • In case of circumstances beyond SAUDIA’s control or any unforeseen flight disruptions, “SAUDIA” will take all necessary measures to accommodate all guest requests by providing an alternative seat with the same benefits as the selected seat; however, it may not necessarily be the same seat number on the seat map. Nevertheless, requests for involuntary changes or refunds will be allowed in case of flight delays or cancellations according to “SAUDIA”' policies or in case the service is not provided.
    • Involuntary refunds will be processed in the same currency as the purchase and refunded using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • In case of denied boarding, compensation will be based on one passenger.

Female Seats

Seat Selection Service for Ladies:

“SAUDIA” offers the benefit from the Ladies' dedicated seat selection service, subject to availability in the designated area in the economy class for all domestic flights operated by “SAUDIA”.

  • This service can be requested at any time up to 3 hours before departure.
  • Gold Alfursan/Elite Plus female members and their only female companions on the same booking, Silver Alfursan/Elite female members, and female holding of (Government & Flex) economy class tickets can book these seats for free.
  • Female passengers holding (Basic / semi-Flex) economy class tickets can request this service during booking, through the booking management page, or sales channels.
  • Payment for this service can be made using all approved payment methods by “SAUDIA”, with a valid economy class ticket; changes or refunds are not permitted after the purchasing process is accepted & completed. It is valid only for the specific time / date / flight in the booking reference.
    • A confirmation email and an official receipt (voucher) will be sent after booking. Please keep the confirmation as a reference for the service reservation.
  • The service does not include any additional benefits, including but not limited to "additional baggage allowance, or extra miles," or any other special service onboard the aircraft.
  • The service applies to seats located in a specific row on each aircraft.

  • When booking aisle seats, the criteria for these passengers are as follows:
    • Passengers must have the physical, visual, and verbal ability to identify emergency exits and respond to hand signals or verbal instructions provided by crew members, as well as dealing with any emergency situations.
  • While priority is given to ladies' seats in their dedicated row, “SAUDIA” cannot guarantee that adjacent seats will not be occupied by passengers of another gender, as these seats are subject to booking by other guests until the last moment.

Emergency Exit Row Seat Selection Service:

“SAUDIA” offers the advantage of " Emergency Exit Row Seat Service", which allows you to reserve a seat in a specific row, subject to availability in the economy class, on both domestic and international flights operated by SAUDIA.

  • This service can be requested at any time before departure.
  • Gold Alfursan/Elite Plus members and their companions on the same booking, Silver Alfursan/Elite members, and holders of (Government economy class tickets) can book these seats for free.
  • Passengers holding (Basic / semi-Flex / Flex economy class tickets) can request this service during booking, through the booking management page, or sales channels.
  • Payment for this service can be made using all approved payment methods by “SAUDIA”, with a valid economy class ticket; changes or refunds are not permitted after the purchasing process is accepted & completed. It is valid only for the specific time / date / flight in the booking reference.
    • A confirmation email and an official receipt (voucher) will be sent after booking. Please keep the confirmation as a reference for the service reservation.

  • When booking seats in the emergency exit row, the criteria for these passengers are as follows:
    • Passengers must be physically able to push, pull, or open emergency exits, maintain balance while removing obstacles, stabilize the escape slide after opening it, and assist others in using the escape slide, as well as dealing with various emergency situations.
    • Passengers must be aged 15 or above.
    • Understand written / visual and verbal evacuation instructions from crew members.
    • Possess the physical, visual, and verbal ability to identify emergency exits and respond to hand signals or verbal directions provided by crew members.
    • Capable of conveying information to other passengers.
    • Not responsible for (including but not limited to, caring for young children, infants, or incapacitated passengers unable to care for themselves).
    • Willing to assist other passengers in evacuating the aircraft during emergencies.
  • “SAUDIA” reserves the right to change seats before or after boarding for safety reasons. Guests who do not comply with approved safety instructions will be requested to change their seat, and will lose their eligibility for the refund.

“SAUDIA” offers the advantage of "Extra Legroom Seat Service", which allows you to reserve a seat in a specific row, subject to availability in the economy class, on both domestic and international flights operated by SAUDIA for the purpose of: 

  • Providing extra legroom. 
  • This service can be requested at any time before departure. 
  • Gold Alfursan/Elite Plus members and their companions on the same booking, Silver Alfursan/Elite members, and holders of (Government economy class tickets) can book these seats for free. 
  • Passengers holding (Basic / semi-Flex / Flex economy class tickets) can request this service during booking, through the booking management page, or sales channels.  
  • Payment for this service can be made using all approved payment methods by “SAUDIA”, with a valid economy class ticket; changes or refunds are not permitted after the purchasing process is accepted & completed. It is valid only for the specific time / date / flight in the booking reference.

  • This service can be requested at any time before departure. 
  • Gold Alfursan/Elite Plus members and their companions on the same booking, Silver Alfursan/Elite members, and holders of (Flex / Government economy class tickets) can book these seats for free. 
  • Passengers holding (Basic / semi-Flex economy class tickets) can request this service during booking, through the booking management page, or sales channels.
