• What is AlFursan Program?

    AlFursan is the loyalty program of Saudia. It provides members with an ability to earn Reward Miles on purchased Saudia flights, partner flights, and Saudia coalition partner offers. These Miles can be used towards earning flights with Saudia or upgrading seats on purchased flights. 

    How do I join AlFursan Program?

    You can enroll for an AlFursan Membership in any of the following ways: 

    • Registration through Saudia website or AlFursan website ,
    • Registration through Saudia app.

    Once all required information is completed, you will receive an AlFursan Membership number which you can start using immediately. The Membership you will receive will start at the Blue Tier level and is valid for life.

  • Do I need to pay to sign up to AlFursan Program?

    No. There are no sign up costs or fees when joining AlFursan. The program is free to join.

  • What happens after I enroll as a member? 

    Once you have completed all the sign-up prompts and successfully enrolled to the program you will be sent a confirmation email. This email will confirm your membership by presenting your AlFursan member number.

  • When do I begin to earn Miles?

    You can earn Miles immediately after receiving your AlFursan membership number. When booking your flight or using AlFursan partners services, you will need to mention your membership number before finalizing any booking.

  • How do I earn Reward Miles? 
    Miles are earned by traveling on Saudia flights, or partner flights. You can also earn Miles by engaging with coalition partners services. Click here to view all coalition partner offers.
  • Can I Claim miles from flights flown before I signed up to AlFursan?

    AlFursan members can claim AlFursan Miles for qualifying Saudia flights flown prior to joining the AlFursan program. Members can claim Miles up to six months prior to the member’s AlFursan join date, so long as these Miles have not been claimed for another SkyTeam’s frequent flyer program. You cannot claim for any partner activity or Skyteam airline partners prior to joining AlFursan.

    All retro-claimed Miles will be added to your account in the middle of the following month in which you successfully retro-claimed the Miles. 

  • What are Tier Credits?

    Tier Credits are earned by a member through the qualified flights with “Saudia” or “SkyTeam Partners”. Tier Credits  allow you for upgrading your current tier to the higher tier in AlFursan Program in accordance with terms and conditions. Tier Credits  are accumulated through one calendar year and expire after the end of such year.

  • What are AlFursan Reward Miles?

    Reward Miles are miles earned by a member when travelling on “Saudia” flights, Skyteam flights, or from program commercial partners. Reward Miles can be redeemed for free tickets on Saudia, Skyteam or flight upgrade on Saudia only.

  • How long are AlFursan Reward Miles valid for?

    Your Miles will not expire so long as you remain an active member. An active member is considered someone who is earning and/or redeeming Miles with AlFursan in a time period of 2 years from when miles are earned. Miles will only expire from inactivity at 2 years from a member's last qualifying activity with the program.

  • How can I find out how many miles have been credited to my AlFursan Account?

    To check your mileage balance, you may login to your account by visiting AlFursan website  or Saudias app or by simply calling AlFursan care center

  • How will the Miles that I earn be credited to my account?

    Every time you make a flight reservation with “Saudia” or use any of the partners’ services, you must make sure you present your AlFursan membership number at the service provided.

  • How many miles do I need to redeem rewards? 

    Issuing one-way reward tickets start from 4500 miles. Upgrading flights start from 3750 miles.

  • How do I login to my AlFursan account?

    You may login to your AlFursan account by using your username and password through AlFursan website or Saudia’s app.

    If you forgot your password, please select “Forgot Password?” or call Saudia guest care center  and you will receive your new password via email registered on your membership account.

  • How do I move from a Green member to a Silver or Gold member?
    To qualify for Silver (Elite) membership, you must earn 25,000 Tier Miles or fly 20 counter on Saudia or SkyTeam Partners during one calendar year from 1 January to 31 December.

    To qualify for Gold (Elite Plus) membership, you must earn 50,000 Tier Miles or fly 40 counter on Saudia or SkyTeam Partners during one calendar year from 1 January to 31 December.

    Note that, counter is the number of flights. One international flight is equal to one counter and three domestic flights equal to one counter.
  • How can I maintain Silver or Gold membership?

    In order to requalify for a membership status, you must achieve the number of miles or counter needed.

    To continue enjoying the benefits of Silver (Elite) membership, you must earn 20,000 Tier Miles or fly 15 counter on “Saudia” or “SkyTeam Partners” during the previous calendar year.

    To continue enjoying the benefits of Gold (Elite Plus) membership, you must earn 40,000 Tier Miles or fly 30 counter on Saudia or SkyTeam Partners during the previous calendar year.

    In case of failure to achieve that, the membership status will be downgraded to the lower tier.

    Note that, counter is the number of flights. One international flight equal to one counter and one domestic flights equal to one counter.


  • How do I upgrade my travel class using my miles online?

    Simply login to your AlFursan online account, select “My Trips” under “Reservation”. After completing the reservation, if there are seats available for upgrade, you will be guided towards completing your transaction.

  • Can I update my personal information in AlFursan program?

    AlFursan member can update his/her personal information, including contact details and preferred seat, meal selection, (except member name). By logging in to your AlFursan website. Or you can send an update request including name update with the necessary documents to Saudia guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

  • How can I update my family member's profiles?

    You can update your family profiles by calling Saudia call center or send the required documents to SAUDIA guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

  • What is the Family Program?

    The Family Program allows you to enroll your family members into AlFursan program. You can enroll or nominate up to eight family members.
    •    Each Family member will earn both Tier and Reward Miles.
    •    Children between the ages of 2 and 12 will receive 75% of the flight miles.
    •    Tier Miles is added to each family member independently allowing them to upgrade to higher membership Tiers into AlFursan program.
    •    Rewards miles will be collected in the family Program pool.
    •    In every calendar year, you can make two changes to your family membership details. (Exception with justification must be review by AlFursan management)

  • Who are the family members I can nominate for the membership of the Family Program?

    Individuals that can be nominated are spouses, children, parents, home workers under head member guarantee, and adopted children.

  • Can I earn Tier Credits on behalf of my family members?

    Each family member will earn both Tier Credits and Reward Miles.
    •    Tier Credits are added to each family member independently allowing them to upgrade to higher membership Tiers into AlFursan program.
    •    Reward miles will be collected in the family Program pool.

  • How can I enroll family members?

    To enroll family members, send the following documents (PDF attachment is required) to Saudia guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

  • How do I claim missing Miles from “Saudia” flights?

    Missing Miles can be claimed within 360 days for existing member and 180 days for new members  from the date of travel, through your AlFursan account or by sending required documents/information (boarding pass, reservation number and ticket number) to SAUDIA guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

    Note: You should also keep the original boarding pass and a copy of your ticket till you make sure that the earned Miles are credited to your account.

  • How do I claim missing Miles from SkyTeam partner airline?
    Missing Miles can be claimed within 180 days from the date of travel, through your AlFursan account or by sending required documents/information (boarding pass, reservation number and ticket number) to Saudia guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

    Note: You should also keep the original boarding pass and a copy of your ticket till you make sure that the earned Miles are credited to your account.
  • How do I claim missing Miles from AlFursan commercial partners?

    Missing Miles from transactions and activities of AlFursan commercial partners, can be claimed within 180 days by providing the original documents such as hotel stay invoice or car rental contract, etc. to to Saudia guest care center WhatsApp on 966920022222.

  • How can AlFursan members benefit from AlFursan coalition partners?
    AlFursan members can use Reward Miles to redeem reward tickets on Saudia or SkyTeam Partners flights.

    AlFursan member can use Reward Miles to redeem travel class upgrades - on Saudia flights only.
  • What types of rewards are available for AlFursan program?

    The rewards available for redemption are reward flights with Saudia or SkyTeam partners and travel class upgrades on Saudia flights.

  • How can I redeem my Miles?

  • How can I request rewards for my family members registered under my membership?

    The head member of an AlFursan family account may request rewards on behalf of their family members through the AlFursan website or by calling the Saudia guest care center.

  • Can I request AlFursan Rewards for my friends or my relatives other than those who are registered under my membership?

    You can request reward tickets for guests other than your family members through contacting Saudia guest care center

  • What are the after-sales services available for reward tickets?

    Reward Tickets are refundable or can be rebooked with certain fees. For more info refer to the terms and conditions of Reward Tickets

  • Will I be automatically entitled to a free upgrade every time I travel?

    Your AlFursan membership does not automatically entitle you to a free upgrade, regardless of your tier level. However, you may redeem your Reward Miles for an upgrade to the next class of service.

  • Will I be charged for booking a Reward?

    AlFursan Reward Tickets are subject to taxes, service charge that should be paid by AlFursan member.

  • Can I re-credit my unused Reward to my Reward Miles account?

    AlFursan Reward Tickets can be refunded within one year from its original date of issuance and the fees required will be collected, miles expired can’t refunded ,

    You can refund your reward ticket through  AlFursan Care Center, and Saudia sales office.

  • Do I earn Miles when redeeming?

    An AlFursan member is not entitled to earn miles through Reward Tickets. For tickets upgraded by miles you will earn the original ticket miles. 

  • What happens if I do not travel enough to maintain my current membership level?

    If the mileage required maintaining the current membership level is not met, the membership level will be downgraded to a lower tier level.

  • Can I pay to prevent Miles expiry?
    No, Miles expiry can only be avoided by engaging in Qualifying activity.
  • Can I pay to reinstate Miles that have expired?
    Members cannot pay to reinstate expired Miles. Expired Miles cannot be reinstated by any means.
  • Can I reactivate and use Miles that have expired?
    Miles that have expired cannot be reactivated.
  • Can I refund my unused Reward to my AlFursan account?
    AlFursan reward tickets can be refunded within one year from its original date of issuance. Members will incur a small fee when actioning a reward ticket refund.

    Fees for the issuance of a reward ticket refund are as follows:
    International:

    Domestic:
    - Adult 100 SAR
    - Infant 10 SAR
  • Can I redeem Miles for others, or only myself?
    You can use your Miles to redeem rewards for either yourself or family members linked to your account. The redemption process for family members is the same as self-redemption. You must sign into your AlFursan account and select ‘Redeem Miles’. Alternatively, you can redeem through the Saudia guest care center. 
  • Do I earn Miles whatever the fare type?
    Certain highly discounted fares are excluded from earning Miles
  • Do I earn Miles when redeeming?
    An AlFursan member is not entitled to earn Miles through Reward Tickets. For tickets upgraded by Miles you will earn the original ticket Miles.

  • How can I keep my Reward Miles active?
    The member needs to fulfill the criteria of Qualifying Activity within a period of 24 months
  • How do I know my Miles have been added to my account?
    When new Miles are earned, you will receive an email confirming the Miles that are being credited to your account. Alternatively, you can log in to your account and check the transaction history.
  • How do I prevent my Miles from expiring?
    Reward Miles can be protected from expiry so long as you earn or redeem Miles at least once every 24 months.
  • How long are my Miles valid for?
    Reward Miles will not expire unless an AlFursan member does not fulfil the criteria of a Qualifying Activity within a period of 24 months.
  • How to redeem miles?
    Miles can be redeemed on your AlFursan online account. Sign into your membership account and choose ‘Redeem Miles’. Alternatively, you can redeem rewards through the SAUDIA guest care center. 
  • If I don’t complete my journey, when will my miles be credited?
    If you do not complete all your ticketed flights (for instance if part of your ticket is refunded or voided), we will credit Miles for any flights you have flown as soon as you submit the remainder of your ticket for cancellation or refund
  • If I have a mixed class or mixed fare ticket, what Miles will the guest receive?
    If your ticket is split between different fare types, you will earn a different number of Miles for each part of your journey that is booked on a different fare
  • What are Rewards?
    Rewards are the redemption offers available in exchange for Reward Miles. You can use your Miles to redeem a Saudia flight or flight upgrade.

  • What is Reward+?
    Reward+ opens more seats on all Saudia flights to be claimed as reward tickets in exchange for AlFursan Miles. It means reward seats will be available on more flights to more destinations, when members want them. The reward rate for these flights is higher based on higher demand.
  • Can I rebook my reward/reward+ ticket?

    AlFursan reward tickets can be rebooked with the following conditions:

    • New flight must be in the same category i.e. a Reward ticket can be rebooked as another Reward ticket only. Reward+ ticket can only be rebooked as a Reward+ ticket.
    • Members will incur a small fee when rebooking a reward ticket:

  • What happens when my Miles expire?
    Your account balance will go to zero.
  • What is considered a Qualifying Activity?

  • What is Miles Redemption?
    Miles redemption is the exchange of accrued miles for AlFursan rewards. You can use your Miles to redeem reward flights or seat upgrades with Saudia.
  • What is YR and why is it a cost of redeeming reward flights?
    When designing the new AlFursan Program our aim was to provide consistent Miles and reward calculations, while granting our customers the value they truly deserve. In order to provide this value and improve our redemption rates by up to 50%, we have introduced the YR surcharge (service charge). This is a small charge to be paid in addition to the Miles required to redeem a reward flight with other taxes and service charges.
    Despite the small increase to service charges, we have still managed to increase the Miles earned for flights purchased, and decrease in the number of Miles required redeem rewards, providing the best possible value for both our current and future members. You can now accumulate more Miles at a faster rate, ultimately allowing you to enjoy a greater number of rewards with your Miles.
  • What is the fare and how it influence the number of miles a member earns?
    The fare is the price paid for your ticket. Different cabins have different fare types. You can choose from, Flex, Semi-Flex, Basic and Saver. The type of fare you choose in each cabin will influence the number of Miles you will earn
  • What rewards are on offer when I redeem my Miles? 
    You can put your Miles towards earning a flight or upgrading your seat on an existing flight. 
  • When I book a flight now, will I still get credited with Miles when I provide my membership number?
    Yes, only once you provide your membership number will you receive miles after you have flown
  • When will Miles be credited to my account?
    Miles are credited to your account after you’ve physically flown from your origin airport to your destination airport. They are credited in two stages, firstly when you have finished the outbound part of your trip and again when you have completed the inbound voyage
  • When will my Miles expiry date be automatically extended?
    The Miles expiry date is extended by 24 months from your last crediting or debiting date, but not the activity or transaction date.
  • Where can I find my AlFursan Member number if I have lost it?
    A member can retrieve a lost member number by contacting Saudia guest care center
  • Why are redemption fares different between flights?
    Fare redemption is calculated based on seat availability of each flight. 

    As of 27 November 2022 we have made more seats available on reward flights, to add more value to your Miles.

    Reward tickets are subject to taxes and service charge that should be paid by AlFursan member. 
  • Why are the miles I earn is based on the type of fare purchased?
    We recognise that different customers can pay different fares while travelling in the same cabin, so when we calculate the Miles you earn, we consider the type of fare as well as the distance flown
  • Why did you change the Miles expiry policy of the program?
    We’ve been listening to our members’ feedback on what they value most. We know that every Mile counts and we recognise our members’ needs. That’s why we have been enhancing our program to provide our members a Life Rewarded journey.
    When your Miles last longer, you will have more control and flexibility in how you choose to redeem rewards, allowing you to enjoy the best choices, whenever and wherever you use the Miles.
